WHO Publishes Priority Pathogen List

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently published their first ever Priority Pathogen List: a catalogue of 12 antibiotic-resistant families of bacteria that pose the greatest threat to human health. The catalogue was developed to guide and promote research and development of new antibiotics as part of the WHO’s efforts to address the global threat of antibiotic resistance.
