Anna York

PhD Student, Coventry, UK

Hi my name is Anna York, I am a PhD student at the University of Warwick studying novel molecular mechanisms involved in penicillin resistance in Streptococcus pneumoniae. I have always had a keen interest in the problem of antibiotic resistance, ranging from understanding the mechanisms to identifying and developing novel antibiotics. I also have a passion for science communication and public engagement and look forward to raising awareness about antibiotic resistance.
