My research interest lies in Next Generation Antimicrobials against multi-drug resistant organisms.  With the increasing emergence of MRSA, VRSA and CPE’s, there is an urgent need for more effective antimicrobial agents.  My project focuses on developing substituted ferrocenyl chalcone componds as novel antibiotic agents against resistant bacteria.  These compounds are natural-based, which tend to be more potent, and can be incorporated into therapeutic drugs.  On a personal level, I am an avid sports fan who loved all genres of music and travelling to new places.  In my down time, I love reading fictional novels and solving puzzles.
