Elizabeth Pocklington

Assistant Programme Manager – LGC, London, UK

I have recently graduated from University with A BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences.  Working for the National Institute for Health Research Central Commissioning Facility (NIHR CCF) has furthered my interest in public health and infection.

It is really important to me that I increase public knowledge of antimicrobial resistance by exposing the issues, preventing the occurrence and spread of resistance, and highlighting the need for research and development of new antimicrobials.

I hope in the future to become involved in the wider effort to protect the global population against resistant bacteria.
