Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Penryn, UK

I am a molecular ecologist with a specific interest in the evolution and ecology of plasmids and antibiotic resistance genes. During my past research I identified the enormous wide spread of plasmids in microbial communities and how human activities can alter the gene exchange and thus the spread of antibiotic resistance genes in complex communities.
