The British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC), in collaboration with 4AllofUs, is hosting a Roundtable Series on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). The series will examine the economic, societal and human impact of antimicrobial resistance and look at the vital role of education in minimising this. The events are aimed at healthcare professionals, policy makers, scientists, researchers, educators, commercial sector partners amongst others and will examine topics such as the macroeconomic impact of resistance, the true burden of communicable disease and ask if we can really change the upward trajectory of antimicrobial resistance.
Roundtable Two will take place on Thursday, 19 May 2016 at the Wellcome Trust in London. It will focus on moving the battle against AMR forward – the fiscal and educational challenges.
