Making the public and professionals aware of antibiotic resistance and the role prudent antibiotic use has in controlling it, is so important.

The French Infectious Diseases Society (SPILF) has endorsed Antibiotic Action , describing the need to develop new antibiotics for future use as ?We must act vigorously and now so that we can treat infectious diseases both now and in the future?. Society President, Professor Christian Rabaud continued ?Only through efforts such as Antibiotic Action, or L’Alliance1 in France, can we begin to make the difference that is needed?
