BSAC is an inter-professional organisation with 40 years of experience and achievement in antibiotic education, research and leadership. Dedicated to saving lives through appropriate use and development of antibiotics now and in the future, the Society communicates effectively about antibiotics and antibiotic usage via workshops, professional guidelines and its own high impact international journal.

Antibiotic Action is a direct result of the BSAC Urgent Need Initiative, and is wholly supported by the Society in collaboration with partners from academia, industry and public interest groups.

The Society calls all with an interest in the successful management of infection to lend their voice and support to Antibiotic Action. No antibiotics – no treatment – no cure …. it is that simple. We are determined to making a difference.
